		<description>Bob,

We are working hard in our districts to long range plan beyond this immediate proposed cut to state aid. In our district, we eliminated a middle school principal and two reading teachers for the 2009-10 school year. Using our reserves NOW to cover the expenses of a school program already in progress is difficult for some districts and debilitating for others. Any reserves used to keep program in place would most likely be part of a district&#039;s long range plan to weather what is reportedly going to be a difficult financial climate for the next couple of years.
